On September 18, 1958, Ronnie G. Miller was the third of three sons born to George L. and Jewel J. Miller in San Antonio, Texas. Ronnie accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. P.S. Wilkerson, pastor of New Light Baptist Church. The Miller family later moved their membership to New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Paul D. Stevens, where they have remained for more than twenty years. Ronnie attended St. Peter Claver Catholic School and completed his education in the San Antonio Independent School District, where he attended: Tynan Elementary, Emerson Middle School and graduating from Highland High School in May 1978. Upon graduation Ronnie entered the workforce. He worked for HEB, Vetro Packing, FEE Furniture, Butter Crust, Installation Services, Dynax, D.R. Horton, Bordovosky Enterprises and Highland Express Shuttle. Ronnie loved to play and watch sports. He began playing softball at eight years of age with the Lincoln Park Tigers and Comanche Park. Throughout adulthood, he played softball for the San Antonio Black Sox, Eastside Racers, Blues Brothers and the 40 Oz. Gang. He was the #1 fan of the San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees. Ronnie met the love of hi life, Debra Richard, in 2000. On February 7, 2003 the two became one and remained united in Holy Matrimony until his untimely death. On the afternoon of September 20, 2016, Ronnie was called home from labor to eternal rest. Preceding him in death were his daughter, Baby Girl Miller; his parents, George and Jewel Miller; his brothers, Shellie W. Miller, Rodney L. Miller, Sr., and Keith Howard. Ronnie leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Debra; brother, Kenneth Howard; children, Tamika Kuykendall, Ronnie D. Williams, Sr., Nicole Richard, Michael Ward (Michelle) and others children he loved as his own. His legacy is left to his nine grandchildren, Brittany, Robert, Alexus, Aryanna, Albert, Camryn, Harmony, Heaven and Ronnie Jr. He also leaves to cherish his memory his uncles, Robert Johnson, William Johnson (Linda), Aaron Miller (Martha Ann) of Clearwater, Florida; brothers-in-law, Thomas C. Richard, Larry Richard (Albany, Oregon) and Arnold D. Mitchell; cousins, Jackie, Carnell, Barbara, Larry, Robin andthe Clearwater, Florida Miller family and a host of relatives and friends including his special friends; Tony Brown, Kenny Stevenson, and Michael "Tic" Johnson.
