Rosa Laura Perez Santana, 65, of San Antonio, TX went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 6:24am. She was born June 16, 1951 in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Roman and Sofia Santana. She is survived by her Husband of 43 years Melchisedech "Sergio" Perez, Son Sergio and Jacqueline Perez and Fam., Daughter Sandra and Israel Veliz, Daughter Cristina and Brooks Black, Son Abraham Perez and Daughter Yesenia and Jose Encinia and Fam. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren: Thalia, Fabian, Sergio Jr., Andres, Halaiyah, Jisselle, Mia, Emily, Jose III and Emilio as well as her Father Roman Santana and 7 Brothers and 8 Sisters from Dallas, TX. Rosie, as she loved to be called, loved her husband and family to the fullest. She was a woman of God and had a loving and caring heart. She enjoyed family get togethers, shopping and church events. She loved to cook for her children and she was the family's greatest cheerleader; whether at school or church events. She was selfless and always with a smile. She would greet everyone with a hug and kiss regardless if they were family or not. She was a prayer warrior who trusted God to the fullest. Memorial services will be conducted at Meadowlawn Funeral Home located at 5611 E. Houston St., San Antonio, TX 78220. Viewing will be on Wednesday, 11/02/16 from 4pm-5 pm for immediate Family, 5pm-8pm open to all. Funeral Service will be Thursday, 11/03/16 from 11am-12pm followed by Burial Service from 12:15pm-1pm.
