Rosena was born November 29, 1947 in Proctor Arkansas to George and Bertha Walker. She was 1 of 13 children. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the church her family attended.
After the family moved to Chicago Illinois she was educated via the Chicago Public School system, met and married Gilbert Barney (who proceeded her in death) and they bore two children Rhonda and Craig. After settling in San Antonio she visited many churches and decided on True Vision Church as her church home.
She worked at Navistar where she retired. She loved attending church services, reading the Bible, traveling and spending time with her family.
Rosena leaves to cherish her memories 3 brothers Herman, Bobby Louis and Williams Walker, Two Children Rhonda Williams (Jeffery Williams and Craig Barney, 9 grandchildren Julian, Quateala, Rachel, Jazmin, Craig Jr., Darrius, Pharris, Roshon and Quintrel and 4 Great grandchildren Noah, Nova, Malik and Ki’myiah as well as a host of family and friends.
