Sam Franklin Tuckness, age 66, passed away March 2nd, 2005 in San Antonio, Texas. Sam loved the outdoors and he especially enjoyed hunting in New Mexico and Colorado with his friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne and his three children and their spouses; Carla Trevino and her husband, Danny, Cheryl Renfro and her husband, James, and his son, Michael Storey Tuckness. Three grandchildren survive; Erika Trevino, Aaron Trevino and Haylee Renfro. His mother also survives him, Velma Tuckness of Uvalde. Also, his sister, Helen Swint and her husband, Bill and their daughter, Leesa survive. At Sam's request, his ashes will be spread by his family in the Heart of Texas, near Brady. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2 : P.M. Monday, March 7th, at the First Presbyterian Church, 300 N. Getty in Uvalde. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Meals on Wheels Program in Uvalde, Texas; 830-278-8868.   5. Sue, We were so sorry to hear about Sam. Sherri Elledge called me but I was unable to come to the memorial as I have been fighting a sinus infection and headaches for a week.
