In Loving Memory of Sara Camacho

September 17, 1957 – August 25, 2026

Sara Camacho, age 68, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. She was born on September 17, 1957, to the late Odilia Mendoza Silva and Bartolome Silva Sr.

Sara was a woman of unwavering faith and a lifelong member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, where she was also a devoted member of the Guadalupanas. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she deeply cherished the friendships, fellowship, and sense of community she found through her church.

Sara was a woman of strong character who was never afraid to speak her mind. She never felt the need to sugarcoat her words, but beneath her straightforward nature was a heart overflowing with love, kindness, and compassion. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and could be counted on whenever someone needed her.

To her family, Sara was so much more than a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a source of strength, love, wisdom, and comfort. She had a big heart and gave so much of herself to the people she loved. Her family meant everything to her, and she treasured every moment spent surrounded by those closest to her.

Sara was also a wonderful cook, and her family will forever treasure the memories of gathering around her table and enjoying the delicious meals she lovingly prepared. Food was one of the ways she expressed her love, bringing family and friends together and creating moments of laughter, connection, and joy. Those memories will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones for generations to come.

After many years of dedicated service in customer relations with GPM, Sara retired, allowing her to spend more time with the people she loved and enjoy the moments that mattered most to her.

Sara leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, love, honesty, generosity, strength, and devotion to family. Her presence brought love and warmth into the lives of so many, and although she is no longer with us, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain forever.

Sara was preceded in death by her parents, Odilia Mendoza Silva and Bartolome Silva Sr.; her daughter, Priscilla Silva; and her siblings, Maria Victoria Hernandez, Jose Silverio Silva, Geronimo Silva Sr., and David Silva.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 32 years, Israel A. Camacho Sr.; her children, Israel Camacho Jr., Jah’bari Tyrell Silva, and Jayecelynn Trahae Silva; her grandchildren, Leroy Amir Marion, Maya Rae Marion, and Amani Shanel Marion; her siblings, Juan Jose Silva Sr. (Yolanda), Jose Ramon Silva (Lorena), Bartolome Silva Jr. (Cindy), Domingo Silva, Maria Asuena Silva Rivera, Martin Silva, and Ricardo Silva (Lorena); along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends who were blessed to know and love her.

Sara’s life was a blessing to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her strength, honesty, laughter, generosity, and unconditional love will never be forgotten. She touched countless lives in ways that words cannot fully express. Though our hearts are heavy with her passing, we can find comfort knowing that her love lives on through her family, her memories, and everyone whose life she touched.

Her legacy will continue through the generations she leaves behind, and every story shared, every meal remembered, and every moment of laughter will keep a piece of Sara alive in the hearts of those who loved her.

May she rest in eternal peace and rejoice forever in the loving arms of the Lord.
