Sarah M. Lance

Sarah M. Lance was born to Jane Smith and Albert James Walton, Sr. on March 8, 1939. This beautiful "sweet" girl had a knack for learning and excelled while soaring to become the consummate health professional she was, a Licensed Vocational Nurse. For twenty six years, she worked tirelessly for Brooke Army Medical Center before retiring in 2004. She confessed her love for Christ at an early age and until her death, remained a faithful member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Her life was a weaving of God's colors built on faith that many things were not seen, but if you believed it was certain to come to pass. In 1959 she married Wyatt Lance, Sr. To this union one child was born, Wyatt Lance, Jr. who preceded her in death. On August 30, 2014 her faithfulness was made known as she departed her earthly home to join her devoted mother and son in their heavenly home beyond the skies. She was loved by all who knew her. Sarah leaves to treasure her memory, grandson Bryan Lance and granddaughter Whitney Lance and two great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters; two aunts, Ernestine Wilson and Leona Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.
