Guestbook

  1. Dear Jay, David, Shirley & Robert – Please accept my condolences. Even though my path in life seldom crosses yours, I often think of you and all the wonderful memories of those times we’ve had together. Just as we share those memories, I share your sorrow on this sad occasion. Since I’ve become a nurse I’ve thought now & then about calling Sharen to compare notes & ask her advice. Now not having done it will always be among my deepest regrets. But at least I’ll still have those memories to lighten the load. My thoughts are with you all – Alan

  2. Steven and David, My deepest condolences are with you and your family. I remember all the good times we all had together. I am still in shock about it and want you both to know that if you need anything at all just let us know. We are always going to be here for you two so just let us know. We love you both and again feel free to call any time. Love Samantha

  7. Steven & David & Shirley Your mother was the first friend I had here in San Antonio. Eric went to grade school with you Steven and that is where I met your mom. She was a wonderful and loving person. You boys meant the world to her. Shirley, Sharon spoke very fondly of you. You were not only her sister but her best friend. Though I never met you I feel like I know you. Pleas accept Eric and my condolence and know that my prayers will always be with your family.

  8. To Sharons’s family: I met this wonderful, caring woman 3 years ago when we worked for Interlink Home Health Care. I was the Q/A nurse and she was the epitome of compassion and caring for her patients. She always went the extra mile for her family, friends, and patients. May you find peace in knowing that the angels welcomed her into heaven with open arms. My deepest sympathy to you. Martha Szczech,RN

  9. Dear Shirley, I’m sorry about the loss of your precious Sharon. Seems like only yest. we were goofing off on W.Craig St. and those are the memories I’ll always remember. Sharon always had a smile on her face and an upbeat personality, I can’t beleive she is gone. I remember so vividly how close you,Robert & her were growing up & so cute together. I’ll keep her and your fam. in my prayers. Sincerely Barbara Hansen

  10. I haven’t been in touch with Sharen since we worked together at University Hospital on the Medical Surgical floor. She was one of the many reasons I loved going to work. Her beautiful smile and compassion warmed my heart. I can still see Sharen Howard down the hall laughing with another nurse and I couldn’t help but crack up because her laugh was so incredibly contagious. She was so full of life and this is how I have always remembered her and will continue, I am glad God placed Sharen in my path. I am so sorry for your loss, I am sure there are no words that can comfort you at this time, but knowing she is in a better more peaceful place hopefully will offer you some comfort. May God guide you through this sorrow in your life and help you to continue to carry Sharen in your heart and mind. Sincerely, Carmen Paccione (An old friend)

  11. To Sharon’s Family, I found Sharon’s obituary by accident. I’m truly sorry for your loss. My memories of Sharon and the Holbrook clan have made me laugh often over the years. Especially, the hunting advantures of my father, Jay, David and John Simon. Please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Jackie Mesch Ledford
