Sharon J. Cole

COLE, SHARON JEAN age 67 passed away October 23, 2020 in her San Antonio, Texas home and was reunited with her beloved Jimmie. Sharon Jean Perry was born on October 27, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Jean Woods and Mickey Perry. She graduated from Ross Sterling HIgh School of Houston,Texas in 1970. Sharon met and fell in love with her best friend, love of her life and soulmate Orlando James “Jim” Cole, Jr. and they married August 27, 1980 in Houston, Texas. Sharon was a wonderful sister, aunt, friend, wife, and mom to her fur babies. She was a warm, loving, caring person who always listened with an empathetic ear and offered sound advice when asked. Sharon was a spiritual person and welcomed with open arms by family members who predeceased her, especially her husband Jim, her parents Jean and Mickey, her grandparents, and past fur babies. Sharon will be deeply missed by her sweet fur baby Coug, her sister Melody Williamson, her brother and sister-in-law Dr Bill and Liz McGehee, and her half sister Tracy Perry-Sauers and her husband Buster. Sharon’s loss will be deeply felt by her beloved nieces and nephews; Michelle, Michael and Kylie Williamson; Matt, Lindsey, Kyle, Evan & Alexis, Ben, Katherine, James, and Rebecca McGehee as well as her great nieces and nephews; Alyssa Johnson; Mercy, Patrick and David Meier; Grace and Mikey Williamson; and Emerson McGehee. She is also survived by Joann Warnken. Sharon’s family and friends will be gathering for a Celebration of Sharon’s Life; the date and time are still to be determined. In lieu of gifts or flowers, Sharon would prefer her loved ones aid in research developments by donating to either the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
