Shelton Wayne Keith

shelton keith
Shelton Wayne Keith was born August 16, 1953 to Joseph Lee Keith and Greta Naylor Keith in Kinsley, Kansas. He is the oldest of four children, and the only male. Shelton went to be with the Lord on December 25, 2013 at the age of 60. Shelton became an ordained minister later in life and faithfully served the Lord until his passing. His family takes great comfort knowing that he brought many to the Lord. In addition to his love for God and his overwhelming love for his family, Shelton loved to fly planes, something he had been doing since he was a teenager. Shelton was an extremely intelligent man, and had an extraordinary head for business. He also enjoyed golfing, traveling, and though he would never admit it, animals. He is survived by his five children: Joseph Douglas Keith, Jason Wayne Keith, Bobbie Leann Keith, Daniel Bennett, and Jessica Lee Keith, and by his three sisters: Marla Young, Anitra Valadez, and Kayla Smith. He is also survived by six nephews, one niece, and nine grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Shelton Keith to assist the family in burial costs. The family will also be making a donation to the San Antonio Metropolitan Ministries in his honor. The account is at Wells Fargo (account #3685063301). Donations can also be made via PayPal using the email address bigd78203@yahoo.com.

  1. This saddens me deeply. I use to work for him many years ago downtown. He was a very kind and generous boss. I tried to contact him a few times to keep in touch but couldn’t get a hold of him. He had been on my mind for a long time and now I know why. I wish I had gotten to talk to him. He will always be one of the best people I have ever known or worked for.
