Shirley Ann Higgins passed away on Friday, July 25, 2008 in San Antonio at the age of 61. Shirley was born on June 16, 1947 in Avenger, Texas to C.B. Higgins and Joy Gross Higgins. She is survived by her son, Monty Gillespie; daughter, Kristie Am-Rhien; brothers, Jerry and Randle Higgins; mother, Joy Higgins; grandchildren, Garrison and Carlie Gillespie, Meagan and Sara Am-Rhien and Shelby Gillespie; great-grandson, Liam Gillespie. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 AM on Friday, August 1, 2008 at Meadowlawn Memorial Park.
