Shirley A. Wright passed away September 6, 2014 at the age of 75, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease, and is now with her Lord in Heaven. She is preceeded in death by her beloved mother Anita Clark, husband Jon R. Wright, Sr. and sisters Barbara Foster and Virna Broussard. She is survived by her children Kellye Forster, Joe Worthen, Sharlene Critchley, Marlene Bradley, Shanna Wright, Lisa Wright, Jon R. Wright, Jr. and Louis Wright; her brother Donald Gruver; son in laws William Critchley and James Bradley, daughter in-law Elena Wright; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; lifelong friend Edna Posey and numerous relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
She was a great teacher to her children and a loyal and caring friend.

Mrs Wright is a very special woman to me and always will be, very much like a Mom to me growing up , she will always be a woman of strength to me from the time I was very young , When I was graduating from tech school she offered her assistance to me helping me complete a class when no one else would ..Shirley was always very polite and loving to me , She will be greatly missed by me and her family ,, There are really no words can say that can express how much she will be missed by her loving family , I love you Mrs Wright and will miss telling you , I love you, love Vivian Ennis
