Sidney David Smith, 59, passed away on May 17, 2016 from a sudden medical illness. David was born December 5, 1956 in England at Burtonwood RAF. He was a lifelong San Antonio, Texas resident. David had several jobs during his short life and contributed to San Antonio. His jobs included Data Point, Takumi Team Texas and Grayline Star Shuttle. David served our country proudly in the Army National Guard for 7 years. David is preceded in death by his father Billie Smith. He is survived by his mother Maria Smith, brother John Smith, wife Michelle. Two children, David and Sabrina and 2 grandchildren. Aunts, Aurora Garcia, Connie Carberry, and Joann Willmer. Uncles, Roberto Martinez and Bob Willmer. Cousins, Carla Kerns and James Carberry. David is also survived by many relatives and friends to include, Redman, Big Al and Gilbert who were good friends for many years, Bill and Charmaine Baca, Matt and Ashley Simpson, John and Velveth Smith, Kelli Young and family. Military honors will be conducted at a later date.
