Sidney Thomas Brantley, Tommy, born on May 19, 1949 in Charleston, South Carolina went to his Heavenly Home on Sunday, December 3, 2006 to reunite with his father Lt. J.G. S. Carl Brantley; mother, Mary Laverne Brantley, and brother, Jackson Carl Brantley. A loving husband, father, brother, uncle and great-uncle, he leaves behind a wonderful wife, Miriam L. Brantley; son, PV2 Christopher C. Brantley; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Richard H. Gutin; niece and husband, Cherie and Armando R. Almazan, and their children, Alejandra C. Almazan and Armando J. Almazan and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. As an avid fisherman and outdoor enthusiast, his final days were spent with his loved ones planning his next fishing trip with the family.
