November 1, 1928 ~ January 10, 2021
Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Sixta Ruiz, peacefully passed away at the age of 92. She was born in
Nuevo Leon, Mexico to parents: Miguel and Domitila Medrano. She moved to the states between the years of 1969-1970.
She spent much of her life raising her 10 children and teaching them the best principles of life: to love, to care, and to
always be respectable and display good mannerism. She always exemplified hard work and independence, which was also
instilled in her family.
Sixta was not only a homemaker for her family, but she also had a large influence on her grandchildren, by being there to
help raise them. Aside from her grandchildren, she enjoyed crocheting and loved to cook. She will be forever cherished
and remembered in our hearts as a devoted Jehovah Witness, from June 1991 to her passing, a loving and faithful woman
whose home was ALWAYS filled with family. One of her many favorite scriptures is John 11:25 “...the one who exercises
faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life..”
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ramiro Ruiz, and her son Javier Cervantes. She is survived by her
loving children: ToÑa Pedraza, Reyna Botello, Lucia Cervantes, Elena Garcia, Carmen Solis, Leticia Cervantes, Susan
Blanco, Maria Blanco and Luis Cervantes; (23) grandchildren, (35) great-grandchildren, and numerous close relatives and
friends.
~LOVE YOU MOM, ALWAYS. TILL WE MEET, AGAIN.
