Born in: Oakland, California
Resided in: Floresville, Texas

Susan Maria Morales was born on May 26, 1954, in Oakland California.

She went home to Heaven on May 27, 2026, peacefully at her residence in Floresville Texas. She was born to parents Armando and Kirsti Lindfors who preceded her in death. Susan had a brother named Michael “Mike” Patino, he preceded her in death. Susan was a widow; she was preceded in death by “her one true love”; Espiridion “Speedy” Morales Jr. Susan was a woman with strong faith, a loving wife, a caring sister, compassionate mother, and affectionate grandmother. Her biggest blessings were her grandchildren, whom she loved baking for and spending time with. Though Susan’s children and grandchildren were a testament to Susan’s strength, courage, love, and kindness; Susan’s greatest legacy was her nursing career, and the many families she served faithfully and empathetically.

Susan had many professions through out her life like, working at a bakery, working on a chicken farm, working at a convenience store, working at a Nursery with plants, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and then she followed her dreams to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Susan was an asset to the Nursing community inspiring many, with a career of over 30 years; specializing in Geriatrics. Susan graduated from The Baptist Vocational School of Nursing in San Antonio Texas. She worked several years at Southeast Baptist Hospital. Susan then transitioned her career to long-term care and worked at Regency Manor, Frank Tejada Veterans Home, The San Antonio State Hospital, Mission Oaks Rehabilitation Center, and Floresville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Susan leaves behind daughters Monica and husband Moises Garcia, Virginia Morales and husband Xavier Aguilera, Erica Morales-Campbell and husband Kavin Campbell. Please keep Susan’s grandchildren in prayer Avril, Vincent, Eva, and Miraculous. She leaves behind numerous family members, colleagues, and her fur baby Chewbacca. Susan was a beautiful soul; she will be deeply missed by all. Her wishes were to be cremated, and a celebration of life service will be determined at a later date.

“God’s presence will comfort us in all our storms. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted. He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.”
