Sylvia Carney Rutherford was born August 12, 1947 in San Antonio, Texas to loving parents Louis Carney and Amelia Arispe. She passed away the morning of May 3, 2024 at the age of seventy-six.
Sylvia had a huge heart and a pure soul. Her sense of humor and kindness will be remembered by her friends and family. Sylvia often enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, watching tv and having a snack.
Sylvia is preceded in death by both parents as well as her aunt Teresa DeLeon. Left behind to cherish her memory are her siblings Mary Crouch, Louis Carney Jr., Irene Mendoza, Roger Carney, Tonie Sanchez, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Sylvia leaves behind a life and legacy that will not soon be forgotten. She will be missed dearly by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
