Thelma Jean "PeeWee" Warner

Thelma Jean Hartfield Warner was born in San Antonio, Texas February 9, 1948, to parents Walter Hartfield and Sarah Drisdale. She entered eternal rest November 15, 2022 at the age of 74.

Thelma attended Brackenridge high school, later to attend St. Phillips Community College. Thelma was known for her simplicity as well as cleanliness, she always kept a neat and clean home. She often enjoyed dancing, laughing, and cracking jokes. However, there was nothing Thelma loved more than spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 50+ years Roger Warner, daughters Velvet Smith, Tiny Hartfield-Mackey, Stepchildren, Jerome Brooks, and Antoinette Rogers, and grandchildren Danielle Mitchell-Bender, Julian Bender, Candace Roberts, Anthony Roberts, Krystin Mitchell, Carl O’Neal, Charity Matthews, Chris Matthews, Samara Hodges-Smith, Sharai Hodges-Smith, Menorah Smith, and Miracle Mackey. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Vishawn Carter, A’mynae Roberts, Anthony Roberts Jr., Caliyah Roberts, Dani Raye Bender, Jayla Bender, Julian Bender, Elijah Matthews, Ezekiel Matthews, Jeremiah, Abigail Matthews, and Jerome Jr-Warner.

Thelma, also affectionately known as “PeeWee”, leaves behind a life and legacy that will not soon be forgotten. She will be remembered, loved and missed deeply by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
