Thomas Calvin Bosanko Jr.

With profound sadness and heartfelt love, we announce the passing of Thomas Calvin Bosanko Jr., who entered eternal rest on July 21, 2026, at the age of 75.

Thomas was born on October 18, 1950, in Houston, Texas, to Thomas Calvin Bosanko Sr. and JoAnn Rogers. Throughout his life, Thomas was known as a strong, dependable man whose greatest pride was the family he built. He was the cornerstone of his family, the patriarch whose wisdom, humor, and unwavering love created a foundation that will continue to guide those who loved him for generations.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Calvin Bosanko Sr.; his mother, JoAnn Rogers; his sister, Patricia Hines; his beloved son, Thomas Calvin Bosanko III, a loss he carried deeply in his heart; and his great-grandson, West Townsend. While those losses forever changed him, he continued to surround his family with love, strength, and encouragement.

There were few things Thomas enjoyed more than gathering around to watch football. A devoted and lifelong University of Texas Longhorns fan, Saturdays during football season were something everyone knew not to interrupt. Win or lose, he proudly stood behind his Longhorns. He also loved trying his luck at the casino, savoring a perfectly cooked steak, and if a salad happened to make its way onto his plate, it always needed plenty of extra ranch dressing. These simple pleasures brought him happiness and became part of the memories his family will forever cherish.

More than anything, Thomas treasured time spent with his loved ones. Whether sharing stories, offering advice, celebrating holidays, or simply enjoying each other’s company, he made every gathering feel special. His love was steadfast, his loyalty unwavering, and his presence brought comfort to those around him.

He leaves behind his devoted wife, Debbie Bosanko, with whom he shared 56 years of love, laughter, and treasured memories. He is also survived by his loving children: Casey Bosanko and wife, Terry; Brian Bosanko and wife, Tiffany; Bobbie Parsons and husband, Quintin; and Nicole Townsend and husband, Dustin.

Thomas was a proud and devoted grandfather to Kaylee Richardson, Kamryn Parsons, Kandyce Parsons, Kaleb Parsons, Caden Bosanko, Shelby Hardin, Dustin Hardin, Raygan Bosanko, Drew Bosanko, Farrah Shae Bosanko, and Trey Dunsirn. He was also the proud great-grandfather of his cherished great-granddaughter, Dallas Townsend, all of whom brought him endless smiles and immeasurable joy.

He is also survived by his brother, Andy Bosanko and wife; his sister, Rose Laskowski and husband; along with numerous extended family members, lifelong friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known him. His life was measured not by material possessions, but by the love he gave, the family he cherished, and the memories he created.

Although our hearts are heavy with his passing, we find comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on in every lesson he taught, every tradition he started, and every life he touched. His laughter, his stories, his love of football, and the way he brought his family together will never be forgotten.

Thomas’s life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and his love a gift that will remain in the hearts of his family forever.
