Thomas Fransis Soltys

He was born on June 25, 1957, in Sacramento, CA to Thomas V. and Lydia W. Soltys.

His Air Force family moved often & his most memorable post was Anchorage, Alaska in the 1960’s. He often remembered that his elementary school building was destroyed in the Good Friday earthquake of 1964.

Thomas finally settled in Houston, Texas where his favorite occupations were taxi cab driver and club work wherever Bluegrass & Country/Western music were featured.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas V. Soltys and two sisters, Stasia Kerkmans and Lydia Blair. He is survived by his mother, Lydia Brown; sister, Maria Valencia, and sister Anna Soltys Widmyer; brother John Thomas Soltys (Laura) and many extended family members.

Thomas is at rest now, happily listening to any “Ole Willie Nelson” tune.
