O n November 21, 2022, the good Lord saw a need to call our beloved mother, sister, daughter-in-love, and friend to many, Tina Lynn Dailey Henderson, home for eternal rest. Tina was born on October 2, 1969, to Elmo Dailey and Stephanie Crews Thompson (a.k.a. “Dodo”).
Tina attended public school in Beaumont, Texas, where she graduated from South Park High School prior to moving to San Antonio, Texas. Tina always had a very strong work ethic. She worked in various places, including
the San Antonio International Airport, the Post Exchange at Ft. Sam Houston, the Sears telemarketing Center, and Citi Bank before her illness.
Tina met and married the love of her life, Charles Earl Henderson, Sr. They were blessed with six children: Charles Jr., Angel, Troynell and Donnell (twins), and Martin and Malcolm (twins).
Tina was a loving and supportive mother who was her children’s #1 fan and cheerleader. Tina loved preparing for the holidays, taking all the children to see Christmas lights, cooking, decorating, and hosting Christmas Eve
parties with loads of goodies and her famous nacho dip. Tina will be deeply missed from the youngest to the oldest Hendersonfamily member and all she came into contact with.
Tina was preceded in death by her beloved mother Stephanie Thompson (a.k.a. “Dodo”), her father Elmo Dailey, her beloved
husband Charles Earl, her daughter Angel, and her son Donnell. She will truly be missed by her mother-in-love Frankie Ray whom she always introduced as “My Mama”; her brothers-in-law
Anthony, Sr. and Lester Henderson, III; nieces Jessica, Kenya, and Jayla; nephews Jamaul, Rashad, Jason, and A.J.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
