Valree Moore, age 80, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2007 at Southeast Baptist Hospital. Valree was born on November 5, 1926 in Edinburg, Texas to Clyde Edwards and Bertha Wyatt. She is survived by daughters, Shonna Jackson and Leslye Jackson; grandchildren, Terrie Jackson and Anthony Jackson; great-grandchildren, Sheron Jackson and Chenel Jackson; great-great-granddaughter, Natalia Jackson, and sister, Coleane E. Scruggs. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Friday, March 30, 2007 at the Meadowlawn Tribute Center. Burial will immediately follow at Meadowlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Shonna, Terry, and Leslie, Even though I am on the other side of the family, I have still had the pleasure to visit quite often with your grandmother when we were kids. She was always a very kind and loving person. My Last Memory of her will be the day of Twin’s Baby Shower. That day she really was happy to see me and we enjoyed each other’s company by talking about the good old days. And, she still had that beautiful smile. That smile, I will always remember. It was unfortunate that GOD called her home, so remember she is in a Much Better Place. So, me and the family will continue to keep you all in our prayers. Love, Your Other Aunt Meme
Shonna, Terri, Leslye and family, Please know that you are not alone in your time of sorrow. God is AND will be with you always! I know that losing one so dear is very hard because I lost my grandmother 2 years ago. After some time the pain will be replaced with fond memories that will last forever! Shonna, after 20 + years, you know that I am here for you through good times and bad. I love you and pray that all of you will look to the hills which cometh your help.
