Age 84, SFC U.S. Army (retired) has gone to guard the streets of heaven (former Marine). Was a member of the Memorial Service Detachment, Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery for eight years. He was also retired from Kelly Air Force Base with 26 years as a production manager. He also served in Viet Nam 1972-1973. William was also a Certified Master Watch Maker and clock maker. William was born in Roanoke, VA and was preceded in death by mother Mabel and father Emmett Goodykoontz. He leaves behind, a brother Jimmy and his wife Phyliss of Roanoke, VA, his loving wife Victoria of 36 years; daughters, Sharon Row and husband Bill, Kimberly Johnson and husband Larry; son, David Goodykoontz and wife Alice; grandsons, David and Michael Row; six step grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Burial with Full Military Honors will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
