Willie B. Sorrell

Willie B. Sorrell passed away July 20, 2017 at the age of 89. She was born in El Campo, TX to Sam Perkins and Daisy Mae Littlefield Perkins. She was the owner of Sorrell's Beauty Salon. Willie B. had a passion for sewing, crafting and decorating. She is preceded in death by both parents, her husband Ervin R. Sorrell, son Carls R. Sorrell, daughter Yvonne Sorrell, sister Lillie Mae Livingston, brother Sam Perkins, Jr. and brother Henry Perkins. She is survived by son Charles R. Sorrell of San Antonio, daughter Ruth Anderson-Holmes (John) of San Antonio, daughter Brenda Clark-Arnold (Gene) of Killeen, god-daughter Michelle Tyson of Victoria, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
Visitation and service will be Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Greater Evangelist Temple Church of God In Christ, 2942 MLK Dr. San Antonio, TX. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Service will be at 12:00 pm. Interment to follow at Meadowlawn Memorial Park.

Look back on all the good memories you were able to have and smile at the fact that you were able to share these before she passed away. My hearts and prayers go out to you and your family. God has promised us that we will soon be reunited with our loved ones. “There is going to be a resurrection,” the Bible confirms at Acts 24:15. “Do not be amazed at this,” Jesus assures us, “for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29)
