Wilma Marie Griffin was born on September 2, 1945 to John C. Griffin Sr. and Lorraine Griffin in San Antonio Texas. Wilma attended local schools and was baptized at an early age. With a kind heart and quiet spirit, Wilma lived her life in service to her family. Wilma gained her heavenly wings on March 22, 2023 at the age of 77.
Wilma spent her life caring for others, including her siblings, her parents and many nieces and nephews. She was an avid reader, loved watching television and was a wonderful cook. In her later years, Wilma blossomed while living at the Parkland West Healthcare Center. Wilma made new friends and never missed a chance to play Bingo.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and three brothers. She is survived by her sister (Fannie L. Otis), two brothers (Louis V. Griffin and Leonard C. Griffin), and host of other relatives and friends.
Wilma, our beloved sister, aunt, and friend, will be forever cherished and lovingly remembered.
