Wilma Jean Spencer went to be with the Lord December 6, 2022. She was born January 12, 1957 to Edward Spencer and Pleasant May White in Myrtlewood, Alabama. Wilma moved with her family to Chicago where she graduated from Calumet High School in 1975. She then continued her education and received her Associates Degree. She then moved to Wisconsin where she worked as a secretary for state office until her health declined.
Wilma was known for her humbleness and kind nature. She was always there to lend a helping hand. Wilma enjoyed listening to Gospel music and talking on the phone with her late sister, Jettie. She was very family oriented and there was no greater joy to her than loving on her grandkids. Wilma loved and enjoyed life and will be dearly missed by all.
Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, Pleasant May and Edward Spencer; siblings, LeRoy Spencer, Jettie Jackson and Charlie Spencer.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Charles Spencer, Leo Holloway, Chanel Spencer, Cary Spencer and Terrell Shedd; grandchildren, Korina Butler, Jaylen Pritchard, Chloe and Bryce Spencer, Paris Shedd, Imagine Shedd and Iva Holloway; sisters, Frankie Hicks and sister-in-law, Doris “Polly” Spencer. Her lifelong best-friend, Roslyn Mack and Tina Thomas- Mendy; extended family and friends.
