Yolanda was the heart of her family—a woman whose love knew no bounds, especially when it came to her cherished grandchildren. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, from tending to her garden to expressing her creativity through arts and crafts. Above all, she treasured the time she spent surrounded by her family, creating lasting memories filled with warmth and laughter.

Known for her gentle spirit and compassionate nature, Yolanda had a remarkable ability to make others feel at ease. Strangers quickly became friends in her presence, as she listened without judgment and offered comfort, understanding, and kindness. She created a sense of safety and trust for all who crossed her path, leaving a lasting impression through her selflessness and grace.

Yolanda is survived by her loving husband of nearly sixty years, Carlos Cantu; her children, Charlie Cantu (wife Paty), Melissa Cantu Reyes, Rick Cantu (wife Melinda), and JoAnna Hernandez (husband John); and her beloved grandchildren, Gabriela Reyes, Rebecca Reyes, Mateo Reyes, Nicolas Cantu, Chris Cantu, Marcelo Hernandez, Anahi Hernandez, Benicio Cantu, Juan Carlos Nava, and Alejandro Nava.

She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Yolanda’s legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
