Yourdell Beatrice Mitchell-Thomas

Yourdell Beatrice Mitchell-Morrison, a resident of San Antonio, TX passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at the age of 70. Yourdell was born on June 13, 1936 in Hattesville, TX to Wesley Morrison and Lela Mae Maxwell. She is survived by her husband, Reginald Thomas; children, Tammy Leonard, Charles Mitchell, Carolyn Reed, Bernice Vallare, Patricia Mitchell, Betty Bailey Williams, Lela Wilson, Johnny Mitchell, and Carl Mitchell, Jr.; sister, Velma McCullough; 54 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6PM to 9PM on Friday, February 9, 2007 at Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 11AM on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the church with the Rev. Cole officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Meadowlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
