  1. CandleImageThe first time i meet him .. i told John that I am forever grateful.. to even meet him .. because i never had a grandfather growing up . I never experienced what it’s like to have one …
    (pause )

As i begin to go over more frequently ..
that’s when .. i begin to gain memories with him..
At first … I wasnt comfortable calling him dad at the time because i wasnt part of the family
And plus a few family members would even correct me about it ..
    && he over heard…
When i was leaving that day
    He gives me a hug
He tells me who cares if you call me johns grandpa .. that’s ok with me ..
It’s whatever you feel comfortable for you to call me .im ok with ..

    years passed and its 2012
.. Johnny and i were pregnant with our first baby
And we broke the news to Dad and mom ..
They were soo excited for us !
Dad had told us that it was going to be a girl once we told him the news ..
Months passed and Hailie was born ..
Hailie was finally able come home 3 months after she was born and the first stop we made was to mom and dads house ..
once we got there .. we took Hailie to go see Dad.. he held her close to him and told her everything is going to be ok..due to everything we were going through at the time with her..
he gave her a big hug her and kissed her..
Since then that’s when i realized that i would be comfortable calling him dad .. not only because of what he told Hailie but i could see the love he was giving both of us ..

we would spend all the holidays and 1-2 weekends at mom and dads house.
    Another favorite memory
we had with dad was when announce our 2nd pregnancy ..

It was Christmas Day the yr was 2018..
Johnny and i gave mom and dad their gifts as they were sitting in their recliners..
    Dad started opening his gift..
It was a Dallas cowboys baby with a picture of our sonogram..
He showed mom and they both got excited…
He said alright with excitement and gave me a big hug !!!
Told me how excited he was for us and that he was rooting for a boy this time !
And sure enough it was a boy !

You’ve meet Hailie.Lil Johnny.Kylie & Ryilee when they were only a few days old from being born til now ..
    They knew who you were
& how much loved you had for them …
you will forever&always have a special place in thier hearts

    This isn’t a goodbye..
    It’s a thank you !
Thank you for accepting me as one of your grandchildren..
Thank you showing me what it’s like to receive love from a grandfather ..
Thank you for all many memories we had with you and we will never forget..

-we will forever miss you ♥️
