Yvonne Marie Shannon passed away July 14, 2020 at the age 63. She was born September 19, 1956 in Floresville, TX to Mary Louise and Valde Estrada. Yvonne was retired from AT&T where she pursued her career has a CSR. Her baby “Red” was her protector and side kick. Her grandbabies were her world, she would always go out of her way to spoil them in so many ways from enjoying an ice cream, to just giving them hugs when she knew they were needed, her endless talks, her unannounced visits with goodies that now they will forever cherish. They will miss her unconditional love that she embraced them with daily. She loved baking cakes, cooking the best dishes that will carry on her legacy for generations to come, shopping was her cure to everything “good for the soul” yard sale time was her favorite. She enjoyed her time having meals with her friends and loved ones. She truly was a one of a kind and is going to be missed by many. “Momma” you left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, although we cannot see you, you’re always at our side. Yvonne is preceded in death by her loving husband Bobby Shannon. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Xavier Charles Shannon, Yvonne Louise Hernandez (Pedro); grandchildren, Xavier Charles Shannon Jr., Amber Nicole Hernandez, Alexzander Nicholas Hernandez, Anthony Nikko Hernandez; brother, Valde Estrada (Linda); numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends. We want to thank all our family friends for your continued support and prayers during this difficult time. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4

She made sure everyone left with something even when it wasn’t their birthday. I also have funny memories of her scaring me Halloween masks because she knew I’d scream. She will be dearly missed.
