Zachary Taylor Foulke

zachary foulke
Zachary Taylor Foulke, born June 19th, 1995 in Anchorage, Alaska. He completed grade school at Russian Jack Elementary in Anchorage before leaving Alaska for Grand Junction, Colorado. Zachary breezed through Grand Mesa Middle School, graduating to Central High School until his senior year, which was started at James Madison High School in San Antonio, Texas. Zachary excelled in everything, especially the math and sciences, completing AP Calculas II by his Junior year. His love was the violin, challenging himself to first seat in every orchastra available to him, always striving to be the best, bringing us beautiful music from his very core. Zachary had a very giving heart and mind, making friends with anyone he met and would talk to anyone, anytime about anything, soaking up life. He would most times be found with his nose buried in a book or making a computer strain to keep up with him, ear buds firmly planted in his head, rocking to tunes. His easy going manner and quick wit were an ever welcome presence in our lives. Zachary was a joy to us as parents, an example for his brother and sisters, a buddy and pal to his nephew. Zachary left us on October 25th, 2012. His spirit is such that he will lift up the angels in Heaven. Godspeed Zachary, we love you, we miss you.

  1. Although we only knew Zach a short while, he impressed us with his out-going open manner, friendliness, and work ethic. We were always greeted with a “hi, neighbor” any time he saw us any where. Our prayers are with your family.

  2. Zac will remain an exceptional young man to my daughter and myself. He had a heart of gold! He was a very kind, thoughtful, respectful caring friend to my daughter (assuring me he would watch out and help my kiddo when she was on crutches). So deeply sorry for your loss… Heart and prayers go out to you…

  3. Zac…may your spirit soar amongst the stars. We shall miss you. Be at peace.
