David Mark Morrison
April 18, 1946 ~ August 16, 2014
David Mark Morrison was born on April 18, 1946 in Pasadena, California. He passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. David was a proud member of the USC Trojan Alumni, where he obtained his bachelor's degree. While at USC he was also an active member in Sigma Alpha Epsilon. After college he served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1968-1979, achieving the rank of Captain. Upon the end of his military service, he raised his family in San Antonio, Texas.
David is preceded in death by his parents, mark and Claire Morrison. He is survived by his sister, Victoria Morrison of Boise, Idaho; son, Mark Morrison; grandsons, Nathaniel and Zachary Morrison of New Braunfels, Texas; and daughter, Jill Morrison of San Antonio, Texas.
David's wishes were to be cremated and to scatter his cremains in the Pacific Ocean to honor his California upbringing.

I just now received notice of Dave’s passing.
I know that none of us are getting out of here alive, but that does not reduce my sadness of losing a fellow classmate and friend. He has already taken his final [USAF] flight and is restfully relaxing in the Debriefing Room awaiting my [USN] ship to pull in.
Dave, please be patient for my vessel is presently adrift somewhere between here and There.
