Affectionately known as “Papo” to many, he was a proud United States Army Veteran. Eliseo was a true free spirit. He loved riding his Harley Davidson which he referred to as “Moto”.He became a long-haul truck driver for some decades and retired after 45 years plus of hard work that he was very devoted to. He spent the last years of life creating new memories with his wife & loving family that he spoke very highly of. Always spent his best days like it was his last. One of his famous quotes was ” Oh yeah! That’d be great!!” or “See you later alligator” while throwing the Peace sign. That’s the way we will forever in our hearts remember him by.
Eliseo, lovingly known as “Tio Cheo” by his nieces and nephews, was a fun-loving uncle who brought joy and laughter wherever he went. He was known for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, devotion to family and the love he shared so freely with those around him.
Eliseo will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his loving wife Antonia Torres of over 50 years of marriage. Also survived by his children, Lisa Lopez, Gina Torres and Ernie Torres,10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Siblings, Raul Torres (Shannon), Daniel Torres, Rolando Torres (Stella), Gloria Torres and Manuel Torres. Papo, it was truly a pleasure knowing you these past 8 years. You were such a kind, loving, and sweet man. I’m going to miss seeing you and hearing your voice. One thing that will always stay with me is when I would come over and you would say, “Mija, you got anything sweet?” lol. Those little moments meant so much. You will be deeply missed by Lil Gangster. We love you, Papo always and forever Amor & Micah ❤️

Please watch over Mamo from above, and keep her wrapped in love and safety. I hope you are surrounded by all the loved ones who went before you, and that you’ve found a peaceful place to call your own. I miss you so much already, and I will carry you in my heart forever. Gone but never forgotten.
