Gabrielle “Gabby” Esquivel, age 24 years went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 22, 2026.
Gabby was full of life, love, and determination. She was a devoted and loving mother whose greatest joy in life was her son, Cypher. Everything she did was centered around providing for him, caring for him, and ensuring that he never went without. Her love for her son was unconditional and evident in every aspect of her life.
Affectionately known as “Gabby” by her family and friends, she shared a special bond with those she loved. Though she was known for being a “tell it like it is” kind of person, her honesty came from a place of love, and she was always there when her family needed her most. She was fiercely loyal, hardworking, and deeply devoted to the people she cared about.
Gabby had a creative spirit and a passion for cooking. She loved making meals from scratch and took pride in creating memorable experiences for her family. Whether it was a birthday, holiday, or special occasion, Gabby always went above and beyond to make every celebration meaningful and unforgettable, especially for her son.
She enjoyed the finer things in life and proudly embraced what she affectionately called her “boogie” tastes. She had a wonderful sense of style and took great pride in her appearance, especially her nails, which were always beautifully maintained and perfectly done.
Gabby attended Sam Houston High School and graduated from Por Vida Academy with the Class of 2019. Following graduation, she pursued her passion for beauty and earned her Nail Technician License from Milan Beauty School. She later became employed with Amazon, where she worked diligently and demonstrated the same strong work ethic that characterized every area of her life.
Gabby’s legacy of love, strength, generosity, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her unwavering dedication to her son and family, her creativity, and the countless memories she leaves behind.
Though her time with us was far too short, the impact she made on the lives of those around her will never be forgotten.
Gabby will be deeply missed and forever loved by her son, Cypher; mother, Maria Segovia; father, Jesse Esquivel Jr.; siblings, Vanessa Castillo (Franciso Castillo), Jesse Esquivel III, and Genesis Segovia; maternal grandparents, Rosita Hernandez ( Vincent Hernandez) and Marcos Hernandez; paternal grandmother, Tina Mendez and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and other relatives.

My beautiful cousin, it feels like yesterday we were just kids together and I still hear your laughter that always made others laugh with you. You knew how to make everyone feel your love with your presence. I know you’ll continue to do so because that’s who you are. No amount of words could ever express how much I am going to miss you and everything about you. I love you so much Gabby, no amount of time or distance will ever change that. ❤️💜 -
My gabby riella, the time we spent together I will forever cherish. You lit up the room with your beautiful contagious smile. Going to McDonald’s even when we were broke. Eating in your car. Gossiping with you, hearing all the wonderful things you were going to do. You will and always will be an amazing mother. Light up the sky gorgeous girl. It feels like I just saw you. I’m going to miss getting your phone calls just to make sure i was up. I miss you so much Gabby so freaking much. Rest in Paradise my gorgeous friend. -
