It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gloria Townsend, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, who peacefully departed this life on January 21, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on March 11, 1934, Gloria lived a life filled with love, faith, and an unwavering dedication to those around her.
A woman of strong religious conviction, Gloria was known for her selfless spirit and her ability to always see the good in others. Her compassionate heart and caring nature touched countless lives, and she was a pillar of strength and support to all who knew her. Throughout her life, she was a shining example of kindness and faith, offering help and encouragement to everyone, regardless of their circumstances. A survivor of cancer, Gloria faced numerous health challenges with remarkable courage and resilience. Her faith was a constant source of comfort, and she drew strength from her deep connection to God.

In addition to her faith, Gloria had a love for simpler pleasures. She had an unconditional love to both children and animals. She was an avid viewer of Fox News and loved watching romantic movies, as well as concerts and award shows, finding joy in both the world around her and the stories that celebrated love and hope. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and a spirit of welcome.

Gloria leaves behind a legacy of compassion, love, and faith. Her parents: Merced and Juanita were there to greet her in Heaven with open arms, her beloved infant son: Thomas Reyna, along with her brothers: Gilbert and Robert Medina, and our family dog, Rusty.

She is survived by her children: Anthony Reyna (Tricia), Michael Reyna (Kelly) and Vincent Reyna (Allison), as well as grandchildren: Lauren, Elizabeth, Austin Reyna (Jackie), Taylor Reyna (Cydney), Hunter, Madden and Locke; great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Elise, and Camille. She is also survived by her sister: Elena “Bebe” Rodriguez; all of whom were fortunate to experience the depth of her care and devotion.

Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Rest in peace, Gloria. Your love and faith will continue to guide us.
