Jane Fritsch Bane, 64, passed into her Saviors arms on August 22, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. Jane was preceded in death by her father, Col. (ret.) Edward Martin Fritsch. She is survived by her loving and devoted mother Peggy Jane Fritsch, her brother Jim Fritsch and wife Marty of New Braunfels, Texas, Her brother Bill Fritsch and wife Nan of Hondo, Texas, nieces and nephews James Fritsch and wife Alicia, Samantha Epperley and Husband Craig, Shelby Fritsch Cadwallader and husband Jason, Paige Fritsch Japhet and husband Jeff, Aaron Fritsch, Drew Fritsch and wife Katie, along with 10 great nieces and nephews who adored her and followed their "Tisi" around like ducklings. Jane has been an active member of the San Antonio Board of Realtors for the past 30 years and loved her profession. She was well loved by all with whom she came in contact and found much fulfillment in the relationships she developed over the years. Jane grew up following her beloved father and his illustrious military career around the world. Although she attended Del Rio, Texas High School, she was a 1968 graduate of Randolph High School in San Antonio. She attended Texas Tech University, where she was an active member of Alpha Chi Omega, and earned a business degree in 1973. Jane was a devoted, loving, and active member of her family. She was a doting daughter to her mother and spent many hours assisting in her care; often putting her own life on hold to do so. She was cherished sister to her two brothers, and not just a sister in law to her brothers' wives, but a lifelong best friend. She spent many hours with her nieces and nephews; helping but make up for the first time, choosing prom dresses and wedding dresses, match-making, and watching hours of movies and sporting events with them. Her laughter and humor brightened many days for all her family members and friends. She will be missed deeply! A memorial service for family and friends will be held at Meadowlawn Funeral Home, 5611 E. Houston, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 13, 2014. In lieu of flowers, donations to Human Society of the United States (www.humanesociety.org) will be appreciated.

  3. I got to know Jane about 10 years ago when we became office mates at the Phyllis Browning Company. We discovered that we both lived in Del Rio in 1968-1969 – her dad was base commander and my husband was in pilot training. Through the years we talked a lot about family. She loved her parents so much and loved talking about her nieces and nephews. I will miss her very gentle nature very much. Jennie Hampton

  5. Jane was one of the stars of Re/Max Mega Group when I joined1994. What a role model she was….always positive, always pleasant, always an encouraging, kind word. She was instant sunshine…..all genuine. Our world has lost a one-of-a-kind nova. I am truly sorry she’s gone from this world….with love…..Carol Thompson
